Job summary

Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for a Quality Systems/Assurance Engineer in our Patterns Business Center at the Engines Products - Cleveland Operations Tempcraft facility, located at 3960 S. Marginal Rd. in Cleveland.

The role supports manufacturing, inspection, and engineering with a focus on quality system conformity and supplier/customer interaction. This 1st shift position works Monday–Friday and requires AS9100 expertise, strong problem solving, and effective communication across

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum five years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the AS9100 expert in the business center, ensuring conformity to those requirements.
• Act as customer service liaison between our facility and the casting plants.
• Approve new and revised Activity Instructions in the Patterns Business Center.
• Determine root cause of deviations from process specifications and develop timely action plans.
• Review processes for adherence to established techniques and repeatability of approved processes.
• Ensure our quality meets customer-defined requirements.
