Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics seeks a Quality Supervisor to lead the quality assurance program for components and materials, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. You will train and mentor inspectors, manage resources to meet production schedules, and drive KPI improvements through data-driven problem solving in a regulated aerospace environment.

Experience with AS9100, FAIRs, non-conforming material handling, and strong leadership are preferred for successful audits

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and process improvement techniques.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and apply manufacturing best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Train, lead, and oversee Inspectors to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Develop, coach, and mentor employees to drive growth.
• Review resource allocation to support the production schedule and meet customer requirements.
• Monitor, report, and improve quality KPIs using data to drive problem solving.
• Oversee FAIRs and disposition of non-conforming materials and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Make staffing decisions to build and grow the team.
• Support in-process and new product design inspections.
• Perform internal quality and safety audits and participate in internal/external audits.
