Job summary

APM Manufacturing seeks a Quality Control Clerk to support the Quality Department with documentation control, data entry, record maintenance, and administrative coordination in an AS9100-certified manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include entering inspection data, organizing records, verifying documentation before shipment, and assisting with audits and calibration tracking. Requires a high school diploma or GED; aerospace experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of administrative or quality support experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (aerospace experience a plus).

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain inspection results, nonconformance reports, and corrective action data.
• Organize and file quality records, including inspection reports, material certifications, and process certifications.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of production travelers and quality documentation prior to shipment.
• Assist with preparation of documentation packages for customer shipments.
• Maintain document control in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
• Support internal and external audit preparation by gathering required quality records.
• Track calibration records and assist with maintaining equipment certification logs.
• Coordinate communication between Quality, Production, and Engineering departments regarding documentation requirements.
• Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems in accordance with record retention policies.
• Assist with other administrative tasks within the Quality department as needed.
