Job summary

FDH Aero in Commerce, CA seeks a Manager, Quality to lead the quality program for aerospace and defense parts. You will own the Quality Management System, supervise the quality team, and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships to ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.

The role requires a positive, high-energy leader with meticulous attention to detail and a track record of driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
• 1+ years of Quality Leadership experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
• Deep knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Lead the Quality Assurance department toward company goals.
• Act as Management Representative for QMS health.
• Oversee audits and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and implement quality processes and metrics.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers on quality issues.
• Support hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
