Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited, Baltimore-based aerospace manufacturer, is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead a nine-person quality team and own the department. You will drive improvements, ensure readiness for major audits, and maintain a hands-on role on the shop floor.

You will read blueprints, GD&T, and tight-tolerance parts, manage inspections, CMM and calibration, and mentor staff to uphold high precision standards while supporting ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Proven Quality leadership experience within Aerospace precision machining.
• Strong AS9100 QMS ownership and audit experience.
• Technically confident reading blueprints, GD&T and tight-tolerance parts.
• Hands-on CMM experience, with programming experience highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead a close-knit Quality team and take full ownership of the department.
• Keep Inspection, CMM and Calibration running smoothly in a busy machine shop.
• Solve real technical problems and support the team when decisions need to be made.
• Get the department audit-ready and help drive the business through its next phase of growth.
