Job summary

METECS is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to provide quality leadership across our engineering programs, with emphasis on spaceflight hardware. You will lead our Quality Management System and collaborate with engineers, suppliers, test organizations, customers, and leadership to ensure product integrity.

Responsibilities include establishing consistent quality expectations, aligning AS9100 processes, guiding supplier quality, and mentoring teams in aerospace quality practices throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Aerospace or spaceflight hardware quality background with leadership responsibility.
• Experience with AS9100-based Quality Management System.
• Knowledge of configuration and traceability, inspection, nonconformance and CAPA.
• Supplier quality experience including outsourced manufacturing or test.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality function across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, integration, test, and delivery.
• Develop, implement, and maintain AS9100-aligned quality processes.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed quality into the project lifecycle.
• Oversee quality controls and records for manufacturing, test, acceptance, and delivery activities.
• Lead supplier quality activities and coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and test organizations.
• Participate in reviews and provide aerospace quality guidance.
• Mentor teams in aerospace quality practices.
