Unison, a GE Aerospace company, seeks a Lead Quality Engineer to drive product and process quality in manufacturing, focusing on reducing COPQ and preventing customer disruptions. You will collaborate across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and customer teams to improve process capability and implement preventive actions.

Responsibilities include monitoring quality metrics, supporting audits, and leading containment and corrective actions to meet AS9100/FAA/NADCAP requirements.

Aufgaben

• Lead initiatives to reduce COPQ, including scrap, rework, repair, escapes, and warranty losses.
• Investigate quality issues using structured problem-solving methods and drive corrective actions.
• Develop containment plans to minimize customer disruptions and ensure timely response to quality events.
• Monitor production quality via metrics such as defect rates, yield, escapes, MRB, rework, and customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, standards, and customer requirements (AS9100, FAA, NADCAP).
• Support audits, regulatory inspections, and customer reviews; close findings timely.
• Partner with manufacturing and engineering to improve process controls and inspection methods.
• Review nonconformances, support root cause analysis, and disposition issues per requirements.
• Drive process validation, PFMEA updates, and quality risk assessments.
• Support supplier quality and incoming quality when issues are linked to external sources.
