Leidos Defense is seeking a Quality Inspector in Colorado Springs to ensure machined components meet strict drawings and specifications. You will support documentation, non-conformance tracking, and corrective actions in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires reading drawings, using micrometers, CMMs, and GD&T, with ISO9001/AS9100 experience and willingness to travel. Clean proficiency with MS Office and ability to lift 35 lbs are essential.

Qualificações

• Must read, interpret drawings and documents.
• Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
• Ability to populate inspection reports (handwritten or computer-generated).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect machined components and assemblies.
• Identify and document nonconformance and support root cause analysis investigations.
• Read, interpret, and understand technical documents (drawings, specifications, test procedures, etc.).
• Create and compile acceptance data packages for customer approval of build assets.
• Prepare and maintain AS9102 reports, inspection records, quality documentation, and discrepancy reports.
• Operate standard inspection and measuring equipment, CMMs, and GOM Scanning Equipment against tight tolerances utilizing GD&T.
• Participate in corrective actions, documentation control, calibration, and receiving inspection.
