Job summary

Staffing Network is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a large Aerospace facility in Tempe, AZ 85282. This temporary position lasts 3-4 months with interviews required. Shifts are 7am–3:30pm or 8am–4:30pm; pay is DOE.

Responsibilities include QC inspections of materials and products, reviewing travelers, maintaining records, and supporting QA and Engineering in inspections and validations. 3-4 month assignment with potential for extension depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an inspection role.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and write English is required.
• Ability to distinguish surface details and characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Quality Control activities to ensure production plans are met.
• Coordinate with other departments to prioritize inspections and record reviews.
• Assist with resolving quality problems within the inspection department.
• Perform QC inspections of incoming materials, in-process assemblies and finished products.
• Review process travelers for accuracy and perform final release reviews.
• Complete and file quality records including travelers and nonconforming material reports.
• Maintain the QC inspection area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Suggest improvements to the QC process.
• Assist QA with first article inspections and nonconformance investigations.
• Assist Engineering and QA with component validation and characterization testing.
• Other duties as required.
