Job summary

Chromalloy in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a QC Inspector to support receiving, in-process, and final inspections in our aerospace manufacturing operation. You'll verify parts meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements while helping keep production moving.

This role requires 1–2 years quality inspection experience, the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment, and strong attention to detail. Overtime may be required to meet schedule and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Requires reading blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Requires use of precision measuring equipment.
• Experience with inspection documentation and certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, outsourcing, and final inspections.
• Verify part counts, serial numbers, certifications, and customer requirements.
• Review travelers, routing instructions, and production documentation.
• Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers.
• Identify, document, and help resolve nonconformances.
• Support production teams with quality-related questions and issues.
• Complete inspection records, certifications, and quality documentation.
• Validate outside processing documentation and certifications.
• Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Help drive quality, process consistency, and on-time delivery.
