Job summary

Hermeus Corporation in Los Angeles is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure precision aerospace components meet all dimensional and process requirements from prototype through production.

As one of the first inspectors on site, you will develop inspection methods, write reports, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality engineering, and design teams to drive continuous improvement. Must be hands-on on the floor daily and able to lift up to 25 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in mechanical inspection in aerospace/defense/high-precision settings.
• Proficiency with precision tools and CMMs.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to read complex drawings.
• Experience documenting quality issues with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of complex components.
• Verify parts against drawings using GD&T.
• Conduct in-process, first-article, and final inspections.
• Create and maintain inspection reports and NCRs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams on root causes.
• Support calibration and inspection tooling maintenance.
