Job summary

HEICO is seeking a Quality Inspector to read specifications and engineering drawings to understand requirements, and to perform inspections on aerospace products as described in written work instructions.

You will use standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, plug gages, etc., and perform complex procedures requiring setup of new equipment and interpretation of test data from diverse sources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some experience in high-attention positions; training offered.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret specifications and engineering drawings to understand requirements.
• Perform inspection on aerospace products as described in written work instructions.
• Use standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, plug gages, etc.
• Performs complex and critical inspection procedures requiring special set-up of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from a variety of sources.
• Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components/assemblies.
• Performs other related duties as required.
