Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Quality Inspector in Tulsa, OK for an aerospace manufacturing site. The role focuses on inspecting machined parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with aerospace standards, supporting production with precise measurements and accurate documentation.

The position is contract to hire and onsite in Tulsa, with benefits through Aerotek. Expect to use CMMs and precision tools to drive quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of machined aerospace components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM equipment.
• Complete First Article Inspections (FAIs) and quality documentation.
• Identify and document non-conforming parts and support corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and ensure compliance with AS9100/AS9102 standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
