Job summary

Okie Staffing is seeking a reliable Quality Inspector to ensure all manufactured parts meet quality and safety standards. You will perform inspections, document results, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain product integrity.

The role requires reading blueprints and GD&T, using standard measuring equipment, and working within an AS9100 environment. This on-site Tulsa position offers a day shift with 50 lb lifting capability and ERP data entry responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Aerospace experience.
• 2+ years inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience using standard measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, ERP).
• AS9100 quality management system experience or awareness.
• Gage R&R experience or calibration system experience (beneficial).
• CMM operation or programming experience (beneficial).

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Interpret and inspect to drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Accept or reject products based on specs and standards.
• Identify and control nonconforming materials.
• Support production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering on nonconformances.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist in developing inspection methods for new products.
• Conduct off-site inspections as needed.
• Track time and job activity in ERP/MRP systems.
