GE Aerospace is seeking an Inspector 2 to support critical aerospace component production, ensuring parts meet strict engineering and safety standards. You will verify assemblies, conduct FAI, and document results, while mentoring teammates and maintaining precise inspection records.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing (inspection/electronics), IPC-A-610 awareness, and ability to lift up to 120 lbs in certain situations; Oracle MRP transactions are part of daily duties.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 by joining date and IPC-A-610 certification.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in inspection or electronics.
• Experience operating measuring machines and complex gages; strong blueprint reading.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and detailed inspections of electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, circuit cards, modules, and components to verify assembly, values, forming, and positions per drawings and specifications.
• Use measuring tools, gages, test sets, and inspection equipment to confirm dimensional and functional requirements.
• Execute First Article Inspections (FAI) and document results accurately.
• Accept or reject units according to IPCs and log nonconformances in TIPQA when defects are found.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, parts lists, and technical documentation.
• Maintain inspection records and perform Oracle MRP transactions.
• Mentor and train other employees; support self-directed teams; follow safety policies.
