Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Quality Inspector in El Cajon, CA to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team. You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs to ensure components meet drawings and GD&T requirements.

The role emphasizes precision, documentation, and collaboration with production and engineering. With 5+ years in manufacturing quality inspection, you will contribute to continuous improvement and maintain ISO 9001 practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing quality inspection or equivalent.
• Hands-on proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMMs.
• Strong blueprint reading skills and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with first article inspections and inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections per drawings and specs.
• Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMMs to inspect components.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to evaluate dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct First Article Inspections and prepare inspection records and reports.
• Identify nonconformities and support containment and corrective actions.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality management system records and audits.
