Job summary

Derichebourg Aeronautics Services LLC in Kinston, North Carolina, seeks Quality Inspectors (QLS) to support aircraft component and subassembly manufacturing operations. You will inspect, verify, and ensure conformity to engineering and manufacturing documentation, customer requirements, and quality standards.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings, participate in non-conformity investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement and root-cause analyses.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing quality inspection preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Military or aviation technical background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify product conformity within the assigned technical specialty according to engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Monitor manufacturing process execution and verify compliance with approved processes, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, work instructions, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities and discrepancies.
• Participate in the investigation and resolution of non-conformities and recurring quality issues.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Monitor process execution and identify potential quality risks before they result in product non-conformities.
• Verify that manufacturing operations are performed in accordance with product definitions and manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain all required training and qualifications relevant to the position.
