AeroVironment, Inc. in Germantown, MD, seeks a Quality Inspector to join the Quality team. You will inspect purchased parts and materials for conformity, follow drawings, procedures, and specifications, and report findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include using micrometers, gauges, CMMs, GD&T interpretation, first article inspections, and calibration support. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

• Must have IPC-610/620 certification or be able to recertify.
• Familiar with ISO and AS Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauge, etc.).
• Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, aerospace certifications, and test reports.
• Basic data entry, organizing, and scanning documentation.
• Familiar with ESD and proper material handling procedures.

• Visually inspect for defects such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, pits.
• Prepare inspection reports and initiate nonconformance reports.
