Job summary

Technifab in Avon, Ohio, is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector to support the Quality Management System for incoming materials, in-process inspection, and outgoing parts. Responsibilities include inspection with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and documentation of non-conformances with NCRs and SCARs.

The role requires at least 1 year in manufacturing QA and a High School Diploma. Proficiency with MS Office and blueprint reading is expected; ASQ certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASQ certification a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing QA preferred (aerospace a plus).

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving and final inspection per specs.
• Conduct visual, variable, and attribute inspections.
• Record non-conformances in quality logs and notify stakeholders.
• Initiate NCRs/SCARs for supplier parts as needed.
• Update and maintain data in QA systems (SAGE or similar).
• Support PMRB actions for non-conforming material.
