Job summary

Acutronic is seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure materials and finished products meet drawings and specs. You will document results, identify nonconformances, and support production schedules.

Responsibilities include reading engineering drawings, using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs, and generating NCRs as needed. A high school diploma and related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Experience using measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges) preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, electronics, or precision manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality standards is a plus.
• Experience operating CMM or automated inspection equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Incoming Inspection of raw materials, purchased components, and assemblies.
• Conduct In-Process Inspections to ensure quality throughout manufacturing.
• Perform Final Inspections of finished products prior to shipment.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calibrated tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to determine inspection requirements.
• Complete inspection records and maintain accurate documentation.
