Job summary

Enjet Aero, a leading aerospace manufacturer, seeks an organized Quality Engineer to join our team in New Britain, CT. You will improve procedures, establish quality controls, and design validation tests while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet contract requirements.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, developing quality plans, submitting FAIRs, analyzing data, and maintaining GD&T and AS9102 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of related experience.
• Pratt & Whitney experience preferred.
• Knowledge of print reading, ANSI-Y-14.5, AS9102.
• Knowledge of SPC, PPAP and GD&T.
• AS9100 quality standards experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma familiarity.
• Heat Treating, Shot Peening, NDT experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer drawing, specifications and contract requirements to develop and implement quality plans and inspection.
• Develop and submits FAIR’s to Internal and External Customers.
• Develop, review and analyze statistical data obtained from manufacturing processes
• Develop, review and analyze Gage R&R studies
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
• Contribute to team environment by accomplishing related results as needed.
