Job summary

RTX is seeking an onsite Quality Inspector at the Jamestown, ND site to perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace products. You will use CMMs, measurement devices, and process documents to verify conformance to requirements and report status to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in aerospace manufacturing, HS diploma or equivalent, and working knowledge of GD&T, FAA regulations, and data analysis tools such as Teamcenter, SAP, Discus, NetInspect, or Minitab.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Base knowledge of FAA regulations and aerospace standards; GD&T principles; basic to intermediate math skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect arriving, in-process, and finished aerospace products for conformance to engineering requirements.
• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for inspection.
• Report product status to internal/external customers.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) and FAA Conformity inspections.
• Identify non-conformances, quarantine defective product, assist root-cause analysis.
