Job summary

You'll prepare inspection reports, support quality in the recall of gages, and review 3rd party certifications; strong attention to detail and the ability to use micrometers, calipers, and gages is required.

Qualifications

• Three years related quality experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in a Quality Inspector role.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Mathematical ability to compute rates and percentages.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions in standard situations.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product after final processing and procure samples for dimensional inspection.
• Measure parts using calibration gauges and read blueprints.
• Review drawings and verify conformance to specifications.
• Prepare non-conformance reports for Quality and Engineering review.
• Prepare quality documentation and logbooks for product acceptance.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gages and related tools daily.
• Cross-train and support recall of gages and tools.
