Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Tech III in the City of Industry, CA lab. This role supports quality testing and documentation duties across aerospace components, working on-site within the City of Industry facility.

The position requires 3–5 years of quality experience, ability to read blueprints and use micrometers/calipers, and strong shop math skills. On-site work with export-controlled data considerations applies, with competitive wages and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of quality experience required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Export-controlled data access; offers conditioned on legal access.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality lab testing and document results.
• Read and interpret work instructions, routers, blueprints, and drawings in English.
• Use micrometers and calipers; record test data.
• Verify material compliance and prepare lab documentation.
• Interface with auditors and customer representatives as needed.
• Back-up Visual Inspection, Sorting and document scanning as needed.
