Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to help ensure our products meet aerospace industry requirements. You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of PCBA, mechanical parts, cables, and purged product, and record results in our MES.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, 2+ years in a manufacturing QA environment, knowledge of IPC-A-610, and the ability to read drawings and specs. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment as an inspector.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organization and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Ability to work under a microscope for long periods.
• OT may be required.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 industry standards.
• Basic knowledge of PCBA inspection standards.
• Background in RF Microwave hybrid assembly (MIL-STD-883 or MIL-PRF-38534) is required.
• Basic knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of product/subassemblies to requirements in documentation (incoming, in-process, final).
• Inspect PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables (visual and dimensional).
• Inspect purged product as requested.
• Enter inspection results into the manufacturing execution system.
• Generate non-conforming material records in MES.
• Assist with first article inspections for component qualification.
• Read and interpret specifications and part prints.
• Follow and enforce quality, safety, and work rules.
