Job summary

Intellisense Systems, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify conformance of electro‑mechanical assemblies, PCBs, and finished products. You will use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure dimensions match drawings and workmanship standards.

Experience in aerospace/defense or electronics is preferred; IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A‑620, or J-STD‑001 certification is a plus but not required. The role involves documenting results, NCRs, audits, and MRB support.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Aerospace/defense or electronics background preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of electro-mechanical and electronic assemblies.
• Inspect PCBs and cable/wire harnesses to IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Verify dimensional conformance with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical tools.
• Document results and record nonconformances per QMS.
