Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Quality Inspector to help ensure product quality meets aerospace requirements. You will inspect PCBA, cables, and mechanical parts, record results in MES, and support first article inspections.

We value detail orientation, accuracy under pressure, and IPC-A-610 knowledge. This on-site role requires 2+ years in manufacturing QC and familiarity with Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typically 2+ years in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment as an inspector.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work under a microscope for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products/subassemblies to requirements per documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
• Inspect PCBA, mechanical parts, and cables including visual and dimensional checks.
• Enter inspection results into manufacturing execution system.
• Generate non-conforming material records in MES.
• Assist with first article inspections to support component/part qualification.
• Read and interpret standard specs and part prints.
• Comply with quality, safety, and work rules; monitor equipment and calibration protocols.
• Escalate quality issues for resolution and support engineering/ops QA tasks.
