Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Quality Inspector II to perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. You will report inspection results and maintain documentation for shipments in a highly regulated aerospace/defense environment.

The role requires experience with GD&T, CMM, and optical measurement tools, plus strong communication and computer skills. This is a full-time on-site position in Chaska, MN.

Qualifications

• Technical school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years’ experience in test and inspection in manufacturing with tight tolerance components (aerospace/defense preferred).
• Experience in quality and source inspection on machined/mechanical components using GD&T, plus CMM and other inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Create inspection plans to satisfy all drawing/print requirements.
• Inspect products using gauges, coordinate measuring machines, scales, and vision systems before acceptance or shipment.
