Job summary

Safran Cabin Inc. seeks a quality inspection professional to ensure materials, processes, and products meet our rigid interior aircraft specifications. You will use precision measuring instruments to verify conformance with engineering drawings and company standards.

You will perform first article inspections, inspect incoming and in-process parts, and document findings to support rapid resolution of quality issues on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using variable or attribute measuring instruments.
• Strong focus on conformance to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect first article inspections (FAI) of new or revised products.
• Inspect incoming products to verify paperwork and conformance to specs.
• Perform in-process inspections of parts and sub-assemblies on the manufacturing floor.
• Inspect final products prior to shipment and interpret drawings and customer specs.
• Record inspection data and support engineering with quality issue resolution.
