Eaton’s IS AER ITD division is seeking a Quality Inspector II 1st Shift for the Camarillo, CA facility. The role runs Monday–Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

with a general hourly rate of $26–$30, base on experience and qualifications. This direct-hire position offers day 1 benefits and a competitive total rewards package. You will inspect diverse parts and materials, read and interpret drawings, and ensure conformance to engineering and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of Quality experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of City of Industry will be considered for this position.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to ITAR. All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve inspection/test data.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and procedures.
• Support AS9100 requirements through the QMS by supporting Quality Best Practices
• Inspect, evaluate, and formally accept parts, materials, and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and internal quality standards.
• Review and approve inspection and test data to ensure compliance, accuracy, and proper documentation.
• Read, interpret, and apply mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications, and technical procedures, including dimensions, tolerances, notes, and workmanship criteria.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate tools and approved methods.
• Document inspection results, identify nonconformances, and coordinate with responsible departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain traceability and ensure all inspection records, certifications, and acceptance documentation are complete and controlled by company procedures.
• Maintenance of inspection records in accordance with company procedures
• Generate and assist in the corrective/preventive action process
• Other duties as assigned.
