Job summary

Fiber Materials in Biddeford, ME, is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure production quality from incoming materials to final parts. You will perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections, document findings, and support process improvements.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, an emphasis on accuracy, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related quality inspection experience.
• Experience at ISO 9001/AS9100 sites preferred.
• Proficient with precision tool inspection techniques.
• Good written and oral communication; safety conscious.
• Experience with Lean initiatives a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of incoming materials, in-process parts, and completed parts per procedures.
• Verify steps, documentation, visual and dimensional inspection, functional checks, and weighing where required.
• Complete standard inspection reports and additional reports as needed.
• Report non-conformances and document corrective actions.
• Sponsor updates to procedures and related documents; support Lean initiatives.
• Maintain adherence to safety policies and company standards.
