Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking an experienced First Article Inspector to verify aerospace assemblies meet engineering requirements and customer specifications.

You’ll work across Quality, Engineering and Production to ensure defect-free, compliant products ready for aerospace use. Join a fast-paced team that values precision and collaboration, with responsibilities spanning FAIR creation, inspection, supplier documentation, and customer portal submissions.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in quality inspection or first article inspection in aerospace.
• Deep knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards and FAI methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Experience organizing and maintaining complex quality documentation packages.
• Strong communication and collaboration across quality, engineering, production and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Generate and assemble complete FAIRs (Forms 1–3) for new products, changes and customer requirements.
• Inspect in-process and finished assemblies for compliance with drawings and IPC standards.
• Lead full and partial FAIs for high‑reliability electronic and mechanical products.
• Coordinate supplier certifications, CoCs and test reports for FAIR approvals.
• Prepare inspection packages for customer portals and NetInspect submissions.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customer FAIR feedback, revisions and sign-offs.
