Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT) is seeking aQuality Inspector in the United States to perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections, verify paperwork, and check dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. The role requires proficiency in blueprint reading and AS9100 guidelines.

Candidate should have experience with first article inspections (FAI) using Inspection Xpert and Net Inspect, and the ability to identify drawing revisions and PO requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand customer specifications and requirements.
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances and blueprint reading.
• Experience with AS9100 guidelines and first article inspection (FAI).
• Skilled with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all established quality management system procedures and work instructions.
• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection, as required.
• Generate required reports, perform verifications, tracking of data and recommendations for process improvements.
• Verify incoming product against purchase orders and customer requirements.
• Verify assemblies meet customer requirements and ensure instruments are calibrated.
• Document deviations from specifications and tolerances per procedures.
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• Create AS9102 cert packages for FAIRs when required.
• Create a Detailed Inspection Plan using designated software.
