Job summary

Hexcel in Kent, WA is seeking an I-Inspector to perform detailed dimensional and visual inspections of critical parts and assemblies, including First Article. You will read complex drawings and specifications (MBD, PL, tolerances) and document findings.

The role requires two years of QA/inspection experience; aerospace experience preferred. You will generate FAIRs, use measurement tools, and support ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance. Hexcel offers Total Rewards and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of quality assurance or inspection experience; aerospace/aviation industry preferred.
• Familiar with source inspection activities a plus.
• Must read and interpret complex drawings and specifications (including MBD) and AS9102 requirements.
• US citizenship or legal work status required per immigration guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed dimensional and visual inspections of critical parts and assemblies.
• Read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications (including MBD, tolerances, etc.).
• Inspect in multiple areas and processes across shifts.
• Select and use appropriate measuring devices.
• Complete First Article inspections and FAIR reports.
• Maintain documentation and report results to accept or reject products.
