Job summary

PAC Seating Systems in Palm City, FL is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our FAA/AS9100 compliant QA team. You will inspect aircraft seats and related components against drawings, perform first article inspections, and issue FAA forms to ensure compliance and traceability throughout production.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of inspection experience, reads blueprints, uses precision measuring devices, and can work independently or with a team to drive timely nonconformance investigations and

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints & schematics.
• Must be able to use various measuring devices (i.e., micrometers, calipers, gauges, multi-meter, etc.).
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask.
• Work independently or in a team with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document inspections on aircraft seats and related components against drawings and specifications.
• Conduct first article inspections to ensure FAA/AS9102 compliance and complete records.
• Apply QA/QC systems and AS9100 methodologies in daily work.
• MRB Authority and related decisions on nonconforming items.
• Issuance of FAA forms (8130-3, 8130-9, 8100-1) per FAA requirements.
• Complete FAA designee training if required and participate in nonconformance investigations.
