Job summary

Rubbercraft in Long Beach, CA is seeking a QC Inspector 2 to join our Quality team. This role performs receiving, in-process, final, and first article inspections to ensure products meet drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have aerospace inspection experience and strong blueprint reading skills, plus proficiency with standard inspection tools. The incumbent will maintain inspection records, support continuous improvement, and may work overtime or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4+ years of inspection experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience inspecting components to drawings and specs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to use standard inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Working knowledge of aerospace quality requirements and inspection practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, final, and first article inspections to ensure products meet drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards.
• Develop and perform tests and measurements using inspection equipment, including vision systems.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare certifications.
• Support internal quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review and sign applicable certifications and documentation.
