Job summary

Canopy A&D in Cape Canaveral, FL is seeking a full-time Quality Inspector to verify materials and components against drawings and specifications. You will generate inspection records per ISO9001/AS9100 and coordinate with machinists on workmanship issues while ensuring calibration and nonconforming material control.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing QC, ability to read GD&T, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, with a base hourly rate of $28–$31 and benefits described in the

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ Inspection/Quality experience in manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to interpret drawings including GD&T.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Knowledge of DIMENSIONAL Inspection Reports (DIRs) and FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION REPORTS (FAIRs) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect received material, in-process and finished components per drawings and specifications.
• Generate inspection records in accordance with ISO9001/AS9100.
• Ensure materials and processes (paint, anodize, chem-film) meet spec requirements.
• Interface with machinists and production staff to address workmanship issues.
• Verify calibrated tools and maintain tool calibration status.
