Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, machining, quality inspection, or a related technical field preferred.
• Familiarity with precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Calibration, metrology, or quality system experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, suppliers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and other standard inspection tools.
• Verify manufactured parts conform to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Work with engineering and production teams to resolve dimensional and quality concerns.
• Support the efficient flow of parts through the manufacturing process.
• Coordinate calibration services with multiple external calibration providers.
• Schedule and track calibration activities to ensure equipment remains compliant and available for production.
• Review calibration certificates for completeness and compliance with company requirements.
• Verify calibration records meet customer, regulatory, and traceability requirements.
• Process and maintain calibration documentation within company databases and record systems.
• Assist with audits and support compliance with quality management system requirements.
