Job summary

Quality Inspector position in Chatsworth, CA for a full-time role with temp-to-hire potential. Workdays are Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:30pm. Compensation ranges from $28/hr to $35/hr based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Quality Control and Inspection Experience.
• Experience working on CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Experience with Aerospace Specs and Drawings.
• Experience with QMS systems and AS9100 Reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Compare product to sales orders to verify parts and QA docs.
• Compare product with parts list or sample to ensure assembly completeness.
• Compare received articles with purchase orders.
• Complete QA forms and logs.
• Inspect materials or products for defects and sort by defect level.
• Initiate nonconformance reports.
• Inspect castings and forgings with lay-out system.
• Interface with DCMA personnel.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Reject defective parts and mark defects on parts and containers.
• Release products for packing, labeling, and shipment.
• Mark purchased product appropriately.
• Test mechanisms for clearance and movement.
• Understand dimensions, tolerances, runout.
• Use sampling plans when necessary.
• Verify specified dimensions of product or material.
