Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an experienced inspector to work with minimal guidance in a team setting. You will handle a wide range of inspection tasks, ensuring records and certifications are up to date and that parts meet specifications.

The role requires five years of inspection experience, knowledge of military standards, and proficiency with blueprints, drawings, and CMM tools. Strong math and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years related inspection experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
• Knowledge of applicable military standards or specifications.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, customer's specifications and internal drawings and procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of machine shop mathematics including trigonometry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate acceptance/rejection records and certifications as required by specifications.
• Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection/calibration of parts and tools.
• Identify defects and document calibration history.
• Perform inspections on complex parts using a wide range of measuring/test equipment.
• Adapt inspection set-ups to check standard, non-standard and special products.
• Interpret specifications to determine acceptance/rejection; use gaging and readings with precision instruments.
• Support surveillance by customer/government inspectors as needed.
