Job summary

Carson Helicopters Inc. seeks an experienced Quality Inspector to perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspection of machined parts and rotorcraft components, while owning the calibration program for measurement equipment.

You will serve as a technical resource for production staff and engineering on quality matters. The role requires reading complex engineering drawings, GD&T per ASME Y14.5, and implementing inspection plans.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of inspection experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Familiarity with AS9100 and AS9102 (First Article Inspection).
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspection of machined and fabricated aerospace components per drawings and customer specs.
• Interpret GD&T and translate tolerances into inspection plans.
• Own and verify calibration status of measurement equipment; document results and non-conformances.
