Job summary

Aero Eng & Mfg of CA in Valencia, CA is seeking a QA Inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspections on aerospace components. The role includes in-process, final inspections and FAI activities in a Quality Operations environment.

The successful candidate will be proficient with hand tools, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), blueprint interpretation, and data verification, with strong English communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components.
• Experience performing FAI’s – AS9102.
• Proficient with hand measurement tools and gauges.
• Familiarity with GD&T ASME Y14.5 and blueprint interpretation.
• Proficient with MS Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, visual, Final and in-process inspections per engineering requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and quality policies and procedures.
• Process warehouse materials and support corrective actions with root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with cognizant management on inspection results and documentation.
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
