Job summary

Figeac Aero North America is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 3rd shift in Wichita, KS to perform in-process and final inspections on complex machined parts and ensure conformance to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will read CATIA models and drawings, use calipers, micrometers, height gauges and dial indicators, and document nonconformities with NCRs when needed.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 10:00pm–6:30am with a $1.00 per hour differential; full-time benefits include

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of aerospace inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and OEM specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willing to train exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections.
• Inspect parts to engineering drawings and specs.
• Read Catia models and drawings.
• Apply attention to detail across processes and work orders.
• Create NCRs for non-conforming parts.
