Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector in San Diego, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector on 2nd shift to join the Mission Enabling Products organization. This 100% onsite role requires inspecting parts and materials for conformance, reading blueprints, and ensuring dimensional accuracy on government and commercial programs.

The position operates on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. Strong GD&T, precision measurement tools, and familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspects purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements.
• Inspections may involve compound angles or three-dimensional projections using inspection equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, telescope gauges, and optical comparators.
