Wencor Group in Vista, CA is seeking a Quality Engineer to interpret customer contracts, drawings, and data to ensure QMS compliance and proper implementation. You will review plans, procedures and manuals to define scope and requirements, and drive quality throughout manufacturing.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, corrective actions, audits, and close collaboration with teams and customers to maintain product integrity and process improvement.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status required due to export control.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field, or combination of education and work experience within the aerospace industry.
• 1-2 years of AS9100 experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Must be well organized, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with inspections tools and Romer-arm / CMM preferred.
• Certification to the Body of Knowledge for ASQ Quality Engineering preferred.
• AS9000/AS9100 Auditing experience highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Reviews design plans, procedures and quality manuals to understand scope and requirements.
• Ensures products meet quality and product integrity standards.
• Identifies root causes and implements corrective actions.
• Analyzes data to identify trends in quality and defects.
• Interfaces with customers for quality-related activities.
• Supports internal and customer audits and supplier visits.
