Job summary

Wilson Company seeks a self-motivated Quality Engineer for its Aerospace & Defense division in Addison, TX. You will own quality processes, drive QMS implementation (QT9), ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001, and improve documentation, traceability, and corrective actions across the program.

The role requires 5+ years in QA/QC within aerospace, experience leading CAPA/NCR/SCAR, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or inspection within the aerospace and defense industry.
Experience developing, implementing, or improving Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100.
ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA) preferred.
Prior leadership or project ownership experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems (ERP, CRM, document control platforms).
Experience with QT9 or similar enterprise QMS platforms strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Own and improve quality systems aligned with AS9100/ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
Lead QA/QC documentation, traceability, and certification records.
Drive QT9 QMS implementation and integration.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA/NCR/SCAR processes.
Coordinate internal and external audits and customer-facing quality interactions.
Report KPIs and drive standardization across quality processes.
