Job summary

Bolsan is seeking a Quality Engineer to establish production standards, implement quality control systems, and supervise outcomes. The role focuses on identifying specifications, monitoring QA rates, and driving improvements across manufacturing processes through data-driven troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include reviewing customer orders, quality clauses, and various standards; leading corrective actions; and coordinating audits with QA teams to ensure compliance and reliability of products.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA processes and quality control systems.
• Ability to review specifications and customer quality clauses.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract review and planning activities.
• Review purchase orders, details, and assembly with Engineering.
• Review customer quality clauses and special requirements.
• Review standards, drawings, and part lists per instructions.
• Create and monitor corrective action requests (internal and customer).
• Assist with internal/external audits and supplier controls.
• Perform dimensional inspection and create AS9102 First Article Reports if required.
• Enter non-conformance parts and logs in QA databases.
• Review Planning and QC Release to the shop.
• Create, Issue, Respond and Monitor all customer Corrective Action requests.
• Create, Issue, and Monitor all internal corrective actions as a result of a customer corrective action.
• Assist with Internal/External and Customer Audit processes and communicate Audit results, where needed.
• Initiate and perform Supplier Control Activities (Supplier survey approvals, Supplier onsite audits, Supplier Scorecard reviews Etc.)
• Initiate all source inspection request and interface with all source inspectors.
• Perform dimensional inspection and Create AS9102 First Article Reports for all customers.
• Submit AS9102 into Net-Inspect for any customer (If required by customer Purchase order or notes).
• Review First Article Previous Source Inspection.
• Correct First Article when customer requires it.
• Perform delegate source inspection when required.
• Attend to Customer request via phone and e-mail.
• Attend to Customer’s Return (CR).
• Enter Non-Conformance Parts from Customer into the PIT.
• Supply RMAS info to Senior Buyer.
• Make Entries to NCMR to Log.
• Make Entries to Bond Log.
• Make Entries into QA Databases.
• Working closely with the QA Analyst in determining quality improvement factors
• Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment.
• Working in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products or software
• Assist in Quality Clinic activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
