Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain QA processes, conduct audits, and drive continual improvement of processing operations. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and on-site work at the Tulsa facility.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and at least 3 years in QA/QC for manufacturing, with knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP and Six Sigma DMAIC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field required; a combination of specialized training and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Three (3) years of work experience in quality assurance/quality control for manufacturing required; experience in a processing environment preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP) required.
• Internal audit and ISO or similar Certification Audit experience required (AS9100 preferred).
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, DMAIC) required.
• Specialized training and experience conducting continuous improvement activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure regulatory and industry standards compliance.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of equipment, materials, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues; perform root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Analyze processing and laboratory data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Provide technical support to production personnel on quality-related matters.
• Facilitate training on quality assurance principles and best practices.
• Maintain documentation for quality control processes, inspections, and audits.
• Engage with suppliers to ensure quality of incoming materials and components.
