Job summary

Enjet Aero, Sullivan, MO, is seeking a Quality Engineer to improve procedures and build new quality controls, tests, and verifications. You will collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

This role emphasizes examining drawings, conducting audits, analyzing data, and implementing robust quality systems to help deliver aerospace components on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or a minimum of three years related experience and training, or an equivalent combination.
• Pratt & Whitney experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of print reading, ASME-Y-14.5 and AS9102 completion.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SPC, PPAP and working knowledge of GD&T.
• AS9100 quality standards experience.
• Familiarity in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is desired.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer drawings, specifications and contract requirements to develop and implement quality plans and inspection
• Developed and submits FAIR’s to Internal and External Customers.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits to evaluate and measure compliance to the company, industry, and customer requirements
• Develop, review and analyze statistical data obtained from manufacturing processes
• Develop, review, and analyze Gage R&R studies
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
