Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge normally acquired with a Bachelor degree in a related discipline and/or equivalent relative to Quality normally acquired with 4 yrs. of Quality experience in the automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industry or the equivalent with a combination of formal education and experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Works well under minimal supervision
• Analytical problem solving skills
• Sound working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Statistical analysis
• Root cause analysis
• 8D writing
• Understanding of Q1 and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 requirements; familiarity with AS9100 (aerospace quality management system) a plus
• Able to travel for company purposes in support of program deliverables
• AIAG elements of PPAP
• Well versed in AIAG APQP
• Familiarity with aerospace industry quality requirements (e.g., AS9100, AS9102 First Article Inspection, NADCAP special process requirements) preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with AS9100/NADCAP standards
• Support process development for aerospace program launches
• Develop and update TDM quality standards and aerospace-specific requirements
• Participate in supplier qualification and customer quality reviews
• Lead corrective actions via 8D, JIRA, and customer portals
• Create process metrics, KPIs, PPM, and FTT dashboards
• Drive continuous improvement across the organization
• Develop PFMEA and Control Plans for prototypes and production
• Assist with audits and surveillance activities in aerospace programs
• Participate in PPAP and production readiness activities
• Support First Article Inspections per AS9102 for aerospace programs
